Work Description :

Motorola is providing the MotoWi4 solution for the WiMax technology.

At iWS, Hyderabad, we are involved in projects across the different network elements of the WiMax infrastructure. The work profile requires the engineers to build a good understanding of the WiMax infrastructure, the WiMax technology and a thorough understanding of the respective Network Elements.

The engineers are expected to contribute to development, testing of different Components/ Simulators in WiMax Network Elements using C, C++, Perl languages on ATCA platform, Motorola proprietary platform across Linux and Solaris operating Systems

Qualifications :

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Engineering in CS/ ECE/ EE from a reputed University.
• PhD in CS/ECE will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in software development in C/ C++ is a must.
• Working knowledge of PERL/ Shell programming.
• Atleast 4 yrs of Work Experience on Unix/ Linux platforms is a must.
• 5 yrs of work experience in telecom systems is a must.
• 2 or more years of work experience in simulators is desired.
• Should have led teams [as project lead/ technical lead] of atleast 4-6 people for about 8 months - 12 months.
• Work experience across all stages of lifecyle.
• Should have demonstrated experience in technical lead roles.
• Need to be good at Requirement Analysis, Scoping of work, Estimations, High Level Design, Tracking and Coordination.
• Knowledge of Unix/ Linux Internals is a must.
• Knowledge of Call Processing/ O&M/ Platform in Wireless/Telecom Infrastructure is a must.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and UML will be a significant value add.
