Work Description :

Motorola is providing the MotoWi4 solution for the WiMax technology.

At iWS, Hyderabad, we are involved in projects across the different network elements of the WiMax infrastructure. The work profile requires the engineers to build a good understanding of the WiMax infrastructure, the WiMax technology and a thorough understanding of the respective Network Elements.

The engineers are expected to contribute to development, testing of different Components/ Simulators in WiMax Network Elements using C, C++, Perl languages on ATCA platform, Motorola proprietary platform across Linux and Solaris operating systems.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Engineering in CS/ ECE/ EE from a reputed University.
• Proficiency in software development in C/ C++ is a must.
• Working knowledge of PERL/ Shell programming.
• Atleast 2 yrs of Work Experience on Unix/ Linux platforms is a must.
• Work experience across all stages of lifecyle would be a value add.
• 2 yrs of work experience in telecom systems is a must.
• 1 yr work experience in simulators is desired.
• Should have Excellent Analysis and Debugging Skills.
• Ability to work with an eye on the big picture is a significant value add.
• Knowledge of Unix/ Linux Internals is a must.
• Knowledge of Call Processing/ O&M/ Platform in Wireless Infrastructure would be a significant value add.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and UML will be a significant value add.
