Position: Sr Software Engineer (Web Apps)
Location: Hyderabad, India
Summary:

The Web Applications Developer will have responsibility for creation, enhancement and maintenance of web-based applications and services that allow customers to purchase, provision, manage and monitor their Motorola GTG mobile messaging applications and services.

Required Current Experience:

• Minimum of BS in CS or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-6 years of experience working with java and J2EE architecture
  • jdk1.4 or 1.5
• Knowledge of jsp and struts (at least 1 yr experience), including:
  • MVC paradigm
  • Tag libraries, CSS
• 2-5 years of aggregate experience from the following: JBoss, Weblogic or WebSphere, or Tomcat

Preferred Current Experience:

• Experience developing scalable web services (i.e. SOAP, HTTP, xml, xmlrpc)
• Experience with Linux (or other Unix derivative) and relevant scripting language (preferably one of the Unix shells sh/csh/bash/etc.)
• Experience with Oracle, SQL, JDBC, and Hibernate (or equivalent O/R mapping tool e.g. TOPLink)

Other Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver quality software, implemented on schedule
• Ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
• Desire to work collaboratively with other talented engineers on innovative products
