This recipe i learnt when i was in south......
Ingredients :
1 cup Basmati Rice,
4 Totmatoes medium(chopped),
1 Onion medium(chopped),
Salt,
Green chilli,
1/2 tsp Tumeric,
3 Tbs Oil,
Fresh Coriander(For Garnishing),
1 tsp Mustard seeds,
Kari patta(meethi neem)
Method:
Cook the Basmati Rice & let it Cool.Heat the Oil in the Pan& add mustard seeds and Kari patta.
When it starts spluttering add Onions, fry till golden brown.Add tomatoes , salt, tumeric &
keep stirringfrequently for few minutes.When the tomatoes gets cooked add the Rice & combine.
Serve after Garnishing with Fresh Coriander leaves. Enjoy...
